The Board may appoint officers and employees with the Central Government's prior approval, on the terms in the Sixth Schedule, which provides for deputation from government and public bodies for up to five years, and for staff taken from the National Institute for Smart Government on market-linked pay.

Gazette text · Rule 21The Board may, with previous approval of the Central Government, appoint such officers and employees as it may deem necessary for the efficient discharge of its functions under the provisions of the Act.

    The Board may, with previous approval of the Central Government, appoint such officers and employees as it may deem necessary for the efficient discharge of its functions under the provisions of the Act.
  2. (2)
    The terms and conditions of service of officers and employees of the Board shall be such as are specified in Sixth Schedule.
